Created more than 30 years ago, Scenic Hudson Land Trust, the land conservation arm of Scenic Hudson, has conserved and continues to steward almost 40,000 acres in the Hudson Valley, including more than 65 parks and preserves. It is recognized by the Land Trust Association as a model of excellence. Steve Rosenberg, in his role as Executive Director of SHLT, has led the group for over 25 years in “saving the land that matters most.” Scenic Hudson, and SHLT in particular, partnered with the Nature Museum in acquiring the Kenridge Farm property in Cornwall, NY which has been converted to HHNM’s Outdoor Discovery Center and now annually offers a full range of nature education experiences for thousands of children and adults.
