Maple Sugar Tours for Scouts!

Location:  The Outdoor Discovery Center on Muser Drive
Dates and Time: “Scouts Only” Maple Sugar Tours – March 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 & 26 from 10 - 11am

Your troop or den will receive a special tour by an Environmental Educator.Tours can accommodate up to 20 people, scouts and adults included. If your group is small, we reserve the right to combine groups to fill tours.As this is a very popular event, reservations and a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required. Dress appropriately for the weather, including warm snow boots, coats, hat and gloves.

History of Maple Sugaring
Tree identification
Tree tapping and sap collection techniques
Live demonstration of syrup production at the Sugar Shack
Maple Syrup taste test
Gift Shopping
Hot Chocolate available for purchase
Museum “Fun Patch” for each scout
